I am an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and reliable person. I am a mature team worker and adaptable to all challenging situations. I am able to work well both in a team environment as well as using own initiative. I love to determine the solutions to any problems. I am able to work well under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
I have graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in May 2014. However during my time at the university, in addition to the sociology courses I have many experiences in science courses (biology, chemistry, & physics), and health courses (public health, kinesiology, & epidemiology). I also had the initiative to develop skills outside of formal education. These would include technology (computer maintenance, audio/visual, coding), graphic designing, and video production. With a sociology degree, it helped me understand how a society can function and the similarities between groups. I feel by understanding its methods, many conflicts can be prevented. In addition to keeping up with the daily news, I would like to consider myself as a well-rounded and up-to-date person. I am currently in progress of my masters degree in cybersecurity from the University of Maryland University College.
I am a firm supporter in new and young organizations that have a meaningful purpose. Two organizations that I had the privilege to be a part of are from the University of Maryland: Maryland Filmmakers Club (expanding the film production culture on campus) & Beta Psi Omega, Professional Biology Fraternity (expanding the love of sciences on the local campus and elsewhere). Both organizations I had the opportunity in leadership roles that have made a difference in said organizations.
